Frequently asked questions

Have Questions? Learn more about our process and policies so you know what to expect with Mirage Media as your Fort Collins Real Estate Photographer.

What is your booking process?

A 50% deposit secures your spot on our calendar, with the remaining amount due once your photos are ready to download. Life (and Colorado weather!) happens - if you need to reschedule your shoot, please give us notice. Cancellations within 24 hours may include a rescheduling fee unless weather-related.

What is your turnaround time?

We deliver fully edited photo sets by the end of the next day after your shoot. Larger properties or packages that include add-ons may require an extra day or two for turnaround. This will be noted in your booking cart when you check out.

How will I receive my photos?

When your photos are ready, you will receive an email containing links to download your photos in various sizes (print quality, MLS sizing or custom sizing), as well as links to any additional media you ordered such as 3D tours, floor plans, videos, and access to customizable Marketing Kit items.

Do you edit all of the photos yourselves?

Yes - every image is professionally edited in-house. We never outsource editing, which ensures consistent quality, accurate color, and natural lighting across every gallery. Each image is hand-refined for clarity, balance, and depth to best represent your property.

Do you travel outside Northern Colorado?

Yes. We regularly serve all of Northern Colorado and are happy to travel beyond that area. For shoots located more than 50 miles from Fort Collins, we may charge extra fees to cover travel time and expenses.

How should I prepare my property before the shoot?

We recommend ensuring the space is photo-ready: surfaces cleaned, all lights on, ceiling fans off, blinds even, and unnecessary clutter tucked away. We also offer a light staging service where we can adjust small details during the shoot (like chairs, décor, or countertop items) to make each room look its best on camera. We will send a pdf with instructions upon booking that you can share with your client.
